Room Notes
- By using the chat room you are agreeing to abide
by the Site
Rules.
- To
use the chat room you will have to set up an account
if you don't have one here already, click on the
'Create a New User Account' link in the login
box so that you can set one up (please note - your
email address is only used so you can be sent your
password if you forget it, we do not use it for
any other purpose such as sending spam! If fact
you will not hear from us unless you contact us!).
- Moderators
are the people in red or
yellow ,
there may be times when the chat room is unmoderated,
this chat room is NOT moderated 247.
We
are not qualified Doctors, Nurses, Consultants
or Counsellors,
nor are we qualified to give advice on divorce or
other matters, such as that given by the Citizens
Advice Centre etc. We
try to support each other through all aspects of
living with ms.
- The
majority of people on the chat room have MS, including
the moderators, please bare that in mind.
- If

- Some
of the people using this chat room, because of problems
typing quickly through disability and/or their
medication, may take a while to respond, PLEASE,
allow people time to answer questions, try not to
blast text at them so fast they have no hope of
answering!
- We
have received complaints
that there are NO PEOPLE using the chat room!
What we have found is happening is people log on,
see nobody there, then log off again...
To
increase your chances of meeting somebody at the
chat room:
Log
on then stay logged on for 15 minutes or so. We
appreciate this rather sounds like waiting for a
bus (no offence intended!) but we are not trying
to have the chat room bursting with activity all
the time, we feel that small groups enjoying an
intimate chat can be as rewarding as an out and
out party!
- Use
the chat room to meet your friends. The
chat room is left up and running 24*7 every day
of the week to allow you to arrange meetings.
- Private
chats, if you want you can make a private password
protected room for private chat, click on the green
door in the bottom right. Or just log on and see
who's there...
- Being
logged off the chat room, some ISP's might log
you off if you are inactive for more than 15 minutes,
but the chat room will let you stay on there for
as long as you want!
- We
reserve the right to log you off if the people currently
logged on find your behavior unacceptable! If you
cause us to get complaints about your chat, we will
ban you from using the chat room.
- Being
away from your keyboard, please if you are going
to be logged on but away from your keyboard, can
you change the setting in the top right corner of
the chat room to Away, thank you, that will
stop people trying to talk to you when you are not
there!
